Faith. Conviction. Compassion.
A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Brandon is a small-business owner and a respected leader in higher education, human resources, and institutional advancement. With over two decades of experience in executive leadership roles, Brandon has spent his career working to expand educational opportunity, strengthen nonprofit institutions, and champion initiatives that uplift students and families.
In addition to his work in education, Brandon owns and operates funeral homes across South Carolina, helping families navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives with compassion and care.
He’s also no stranger to taking on tough fights—in 2004, Brandon stepped up to challenge a powerful Republican incumbent, becoming the Democratic nominee for Congress at just 28 years old. He made history as the first African American nominee for that district and outperformed expectations. Brandon has never backed down from a challenge, and he’s not afraid to take on powerful interests to fight for what’s right.
Now, Brandon is running for U.S. Senate to give South Carolinians the representation they deserve. He'll fight to protect Medicaid and rural hospitals, invest in education, defend equality, and lower costs so our families can thrive.
Where our politicians invoke division, Brandon preaches unity—because it's about right versus wrong, not left versus right.
